Defining brand identity. We welcome our first brand ambassador: Jupiter Whittaker Hawthorn Paparone-Bruns.
As we usually do at BrunsClifford, we are going against the status quo. This is a perfect example of the disruption we are aiming to bring to the industry. Although this example is much more lighthearted than making real change, we wanted to give our little kelpie the spotlight he deserves. I know you’re probably wondering what the hell this has to do with a fashion label.
Jupiter is a red cloud kelpie. His coat has a beautiful burgundy tone in the light. When beginning the brand and thinking about what we might want the identifiers to be, I was always interested in a colour becoming the standalone identifier.
So moving forward, the ‘Red Cloud’ colour will be used to establish brand identity. We obviously will still be using our beautiful logo (designed by Romy), but slowly but surely we want the brand to be identified by the ‘Red Cloud’ colour. Now, the colour isn’t a direct ‘eyedropper’ take from an image. I have played with the tone for a more striking burgundy. Nevertheless, the origin of the idea was taken from the dog.
So we want to welcome Jupiter to the BrunsClifford family. No idea what any of this means for him yet, but who knows—maybe we will make some dog scarfs one day…
For now though, see the colour we have created and some old and recent images of the man, the legend: Jupiter (Joop).
